Carnival News
This past week I was fortunate enough to be selected as an Editor’s Pick (!) for the Money Hacks Carnival 68 – Stanley Cup Edition hosted at Financial Highway. Thanks, Ray, for the pick! What an honor! And check out Ray’s new site design and let him know what you think.
I was also very humbled to learn that my unsolicited post entitled A Few Minutes with Personal Finance Genius Rich Livingston was selected by Political Calculations as one of the ten best articles from across the personal finance blogosphere for the week of June 5th as part of their weekly “On the Moneyed Midways” feature! Note to Political Calculations: Thanks guys, and you aren’t alone. When it comes to this personal finance blogging stuff, nobody outside of my immediate family has ever heard of me either.
I also would like to thank the Carnival of Money Stories #5 – The “Other People’s Money” Edition, Use It Don’t Abuse It! for featuring another post of mine this week on my 10 Dumbest Money Mistakes ever (and some of them were really dumb).
Blogs I’ve Been Following This Week
Here are four blogs that I’ve been following this week and recommend you check out if you haven’t already done so…
Cash, Money, Life – Thanks to Patrick, now I know what Swoopo is.
Funny About Money – Hilarious story on the ant problem from hell!
My Life ROI – I’ve never been a fan of Suzie Orman either, MLR.
Budgets Are Sexy – J. opines on one of the most vexing questions of all time. Lunch: Bring it or buy it?
My Shameless RSS Experiment Update
Last week I introduced My Shameless RSS Experiment. The Good: I have doubled the number of my RSS subscribers. The Bad: I didn’t reach my goal of passing 100 subscribers yet. The Ugly: Well, at least I’m in double-digit territory for the first time. lol
