In my opinion, the United States can not afford to keep giving money away without an equal return in goods and or services. If this continues the dollar will soon be facing a severe crisis in confidence that the Fed will not be able to contain. Then the real fun starts. At least in California's case, Arnold can't print his own money (but he would if he could), so eventually that situation will be forced to correct itself whether government officials like it or not. As a California citizen, I firmly believe the state will survive just fine once all the services are cut that need to be cut. Ironically, that is the biggest fear of those in California warning of a state-wide economic Armageddon if we don't raise taxes. Thanks, Matt!
